Artist Statement
I'm interested in the complexity of the human condition with all of its conflicts, ambivalence and contradictions. I'm looking at the way in which individuals struggle with their fears and how we strive to give meaning to our lives in this imperfect condition.
My work is about how we use images to make sense of our world. It is about the ability of pictures to represent different realities and the gap that exists between reality and its representation in a photograph.
